Our database contains thousands of artist's names from many periods and countries. It lists only names. The purpose of the Database is so that a visitor can check to see if a name can be located on our site. If yes, we probably have information on the artists and you may then choose to e-mail us with your inquiry.

The best way to use the list quickly is, once the page is loaded, to use your browser's FIND function. In IE5 and Netscape you will find this under EDIT on the top menu bar or by pressing CTRL F. Type in the name you are looking for in the dialog box and press FIND NEXT. It is useful to check the MATCH WHOLE WORDS ONLY box.
